Arkansas Blackboard Users Group

I took the lead to develop a small group of institutions using Blackboard Learn in Arkansas into a internationally recognized organization with the Blackboard Community. Some of the highlights while I served in this position are:
- Brainstorm and develop new yearly goals for the organization which include developing membership and meeting organizational mission statement
- Manage an annual three day conference with multiple revenue streams, a 5K+ budget, and 100+ attendance
- Engage and communicate with current board members and board member candidates
- Create highly effective branding, programs, and conferences which put ArBUG in the national and international spotlight for members as well as educational technology businesses
- Develop creative marketing and communication plans for members
I resigned my position after taking a job outside the state of Arkansas.
